went to one of my favourite places today: oriental city in colindale, north-west london.

a shopping centre originally opened for the benefit of the local japanese community, it now caters for lots of different nationalities from the far east.

this is just one of about 20 stalls providing all kinds of amazing and delicious food, from chinese, korean, malaysian, indonesian, thai, sushi - wonderful. wish it was nearer to where i live, i'd go there a lot.

we had korean special fried rice and spicy vegetables, and tofu and prawn buns and chicken liver puffs from the dim sum stall - fantastic.
