Ambleside sports

Another fab day of Cumbrian sports this time at Ambleside Sports. Both children keen on having a go at Cumberland & Westmorland Wrestling. This was my daughter's second contest but my son had his debut. Unluckily for him the draw paired him up with the oldest contestant in the under 12 category... She just picked him up and put him on the ground!

So both knocked out in round 1 of that category. My daughter had more luck in the under 14 girls and came 3rd. Her brother was outclassed in the under 8 stone boys category by a regular wrestler...
