LOOKING FOR TUCKER.....

... went for a walk to the river - not sure why as although it was a nice day, it was blowing an absolute gale!!

At the weir and with the wind not a lot was happening, so decided to check out a couple of the "backwaters" which I had not been into before, this one is Peachtree Creek.

First off with the protected waters and nice sun, noticed why the kingfishers like it here! Found evidence of the good size tucker lazing in the shallows.

Then on walking back out caught this kookaburra above, and obviously just waiting for me to go so it could get in and get that fish.

It looked so majestic just sitting there!

Enjoy, and have a look in LARGE to see the power in their beaks and wonderful colours on the wings.
