I Can't Stand Up For Falling Down

So, 1st August today,La Fête nationale suisse. And being a good Swiss (sort of) I like to celebrate by running the demi-marathon des Alpes from Aigle to Leysin.

This is a half-marathon from Aigle in the valley, up to about 2000m and then back down to Leysin the ski station at around 1300m .
Great fun as always, but tough. Over double my normal time for 21k, but a couple of minutes fatster than last year

Lots of walking and running when it was a little bit flatter. Couple of beers with the guys at the finish. Home to Dylan and Liz for late lunch and relax. A good day.
