Badminton

A long, good day. Three meetings, punctuated by a mug of macaroni cheese for lunch.
Quick sweaty cycle up from VQ to the train station and straight through to meet my folks and Anna at the badminton.

At least t a dozen matches to watch. The support for the Scots was pantomimic. I really enjoyed watching a Malaysia-England women's doubles. Very close, very tactical. Great fun all in all. Must go back to watch (try?) some cycling at the velodrome sometime.

And then back to Queen Street to catch the train home. I haven't seen a queue that length since Star Wars was released. Cycle back through the newly arrived festival crowds. Scotland seems full at the moment.
