An English village hall

This is the lovely village hall in Aston Cantlow, our neighbouring village, and it is situated right opposite the pub. Isn't it how you imagine the quintessential English village hall to be?

I'm afraid I'm out of blips today. I've been at work, and there are only so many blips you can do if you work in an office.

We often go Huffing on a Friday evening (usually with Technophobe and Loosecanon). We're aiming to get the word "Huffing" into the OED. However our compatriots weren't able to make it this evening, and it has been raining on and off, so we went to Aston Cantlow for a quick Friday drink at the King's Head.

Isn't it sod's law? You have nothing arranged socially for ages then everything happens at once. Over the next few days we have so many things arranged. Lots of weekends are like a social colonic irrigation. Then you get the other extreme, gorging on lunch parties and suppers. Feast or famine.

It's Hector and Ziggy's second birthday today, but I thought they had had enough publicity recently so I didn't blip them. Don't want them getting big headed.
