Watching

Another bright morning meant for an easy early start and I managed not to disturb our visitors too much. It has been a day of having to wash bedding so I'm hoping it's not too much of a set back in the routine. Some work proof-reading and padding an assignment, the content of which was beyond my usual sphere, before lunch and the visitors' departure. They had a bit of an epic journey home on the A1 on a Friday afternoon but still made a self-determined diversion.

Bailey has been a sleepy puppy for most of the day but he was excited to see our final visitor and it was lovely to have a catch-up over a glass of wine whilst watching the bonkers puppy. He did eventually settle for an hour and a bit before bedtime and made himself comfy (in the bed he normally just bites and drags around the floor) watching the 10 000 metres at the Commonwealth Games.
