Rainbow = sun + ????

Another sunny day...
Our visitors went home after we had had a really good week together doing fun holiday activities. Lots of swimming in the lake and sea, walks in the national park, a little flea-market shopping, and a sailing trip on some biggish waves. The jam-making was an unexpected activity - it's not so often you can pick peaches in mid-Swden!
There was also a bit of gardening. Our apple tree got properly pruned in a way I would never have dared to try, the grass got cut by the visitors, and we all launched an attack on the seeding lupins and seem to have more-or-less eliminated them from our garden.
It was really nice having you all here R, P, G, & S.
Today we actually had some rain but the sun didn't stop shining, with the usual result, a rainbow! The angles were such that the rainbow landed among the birches that survived both the planned felling of the forest and the storms of the last year or so! It looked very lovely!
The garden needs rain but these thundery showers, though spectacular, don't really provide much water. However, I'll be very happy if the sun shines for another week and a bit and then the rain sets in, because 9 days from now I start work again.
