All wet

I drove over to the beach with my sister under a threatening sky hoping it wouldn't rain until later in the day. Friends met us there and we managed to eat our lunches we packed but before too long the rain started.
It looked like a mass exodus of people all leaving the beach at once. We took shelter on the boardwalk under a large awning. There was room to set up our chairs so we stayed and watched the rain and the waves. My friend Rich is in the photo standing on the boardwalk looking out onto the empty beach. We stayed a while and got some coffee and ice cream just hanging out and talking.
