Land-and-seascapes

Storks catching the last sunlight of the day

Together with my 'long time ago middle school classmate' Agnes, I was looking for cornfields with sheaves of corn in the Onstwedde (NL) area this evening.

We were looking for a field where corn sheaves are made in an old fashioned way, instead of the big round black plastic packages that are dropped on the fields nowadays.
Well, the field was there, but unfortunately the sheaves were gone. We were too late, and should have been here a few days ago. So we had to switch to plan B.

We went looking for another sunsetview when we stumbled upon some storks. That turned out to be a nice alternative. We were told that there are 10 storks in the area at the moment; we saw 7 in total and heard the other 3 clattering in the woods.

The blipresult is not a landscape view this time, but a real wildlife photo instead.
Hope you like it! Have a great weekend!

Big birds here.
