Tower Gazing

We finally christened the new portable fire pit tonight. I was fire gazing and leant back in my chair to gaze up at the sky and this is the view.

We live next door to a communications tower no longer in use. The cockatoos love it. Not sure when it's coming down.

I noticed my vision deteriorating during the week, turns out the veins behind my retina are bleeding, off to the specialist on Monday….they might stick a needle in my eye!

I used to live in a safe little perfect world. It's not a major life change just a new normal.

We sat by the fire designing a patch for my eye that I could stick on my glasses. I also volunteered to be a pirate for my daughter's class ..if she needs one.
