Marina Mall

We had another quiet day seeming as Oscar hasn't been 100% and the rugby was on. In the afternoon we decided to go check out the maze Bailee and I saw in Marina Mall yesterday. Arts and crafts tables were starting today so it seemed like a good opportunity to burn off some energy.

Dubai tends to do everything one way: the biggest and the best. I would have to say this was as crappy as it gets... Even Maple ran directly through the maze to the end.... the trio spent 20 minutes running through and around.... in this pic, Maple had stumbled onto the ground after exiting the maze, and was contemplating her next move!

Ok so it was the first day running, and I really shouldn't complain (First world problems, I'm feeling like an absolute Jumeirah Jane ...) but the glue on the table hadn't been prepared properly and consequently it got all over the tables and the children of course! The idea was sweet.... pasting rice and pulses onto wildlife pictures. The pictures ended up sopping wet with glue and lentils everywhere.... Maple declared that the dried rice and pulses were "Yummy". She had a right old time munching away, I even had to stop her attempt at glue drinking.... great. So we left earlier than we thought and found a new dried fruit and nut bar to choose mixtures from to takeaway (Maple wasn't hungry....)

Poor Oscar, he has hardly eaten a meal all day. Fingers crossed he sleeps well tonight and feels better tomorrow.
