Bridesmaid

What a fabulous day!

The bride looked radiant in her vintage wedding dress.
The groom looking dapper in his Grandfather's 1930's chalk stripe suit.

Every pew in the tiny village church was full to bursting and the congregation almost drowned out the organ with their hymn singing.

This little bridesmaid was delighted to be able to fill her now empty flower petal confetti cone with the sweets that had been thrown at the happy couple by the Swiss guests - their own tradition apparently.

Delicious afternoon tea was followed rapidly by dinner, speeches and dancing.

Thank you Jonathan and Emma for inviting me to share in your very special day.

This is a back blip because after a few hours sleep, the guests regrouped at the newly weds' home - the reception venue - for full English breakfast - cooked by the bride and served with more champagne !!
