" STUCK IN THE MIDDLE WITH YOU "- Gerry Rafferty

What an amazing day we have had here at Taunton Flower Show, the biggest in the South West.

Apart from a large downpour, right in the middle of lunch (fish and chips, naughty but nice.), where we sat underneath our umbrellas continuing to eat in true Brit style, the day has been absolutely perfect.

We have seen and met some lovely people, bought a few plants etc. and thoroughly enjoyed a super day out.

We took our friend Margaret who lives just a few miles away near Dunster. She collected her mirror (blipped recently), and because she hadn't been for a few years, we suggested it would be good for us all to go together.

The above was an amazing display team, showing superb motorbike skills of control and daredevil riding.

We have seen 7 border collies in the ring together being controlled by just one man herding up firstly sheep then a gaggle of geese. All with quiet control, each dog having it's own name and instruction. Incredible.

Performing owls which were so comical, the list just goes on. And of course the plants!!!

After Margaret left with her mirror, we relaxed in the garden with the late night sun. A perfect day.

Sunday now looming, a day working in the garden is scheduled, tidying up before the viewing on Monday. At some point we need to rehearse some songs in readiness for a big bash at Longrun in September. We do not want to be found knapping and not ready.
