Spot the Spitfire

A fantastic evening was had by all at the Highclere Castle Battle Proms.

I love the Spitfire and managed to capture it behind the beautiful Highclere Castle. Last year we saw the same Spitfire and if you would like to know it's history, please click the following link: Grace Spitfire.

We hired a gazebo this year, as we knew that heavy rain was forecast. We decorated it with flags and lanterns and stayed lovely and dry. The only drawback was not being able to hear the music as well and not experiencing the full atmosphere, as the gazebos are placed at the back.

We arrived home safely after lots of eating, singing, flag waving and general merriment.
