London: Day #4

Sadly, it is our last day, but it was not to be a sad one. This was mainly 'cos we all had a McDonald's breakfast. Only joking. The climax came as we supprised Tuttle Jnr with a trip to Knigs Cross station on the way to Euston for our home bound trip. It was a looonnnnggggg wait , but he finally got to push the luggage trolley through platform 9 3/4 and have his photo taken (with the help of a platform guy to twirl his scarf for effect). I took this shot, but Tuttle Jnr wanted to buy the "official photo" as he had a bit of holiday cash left over.
While he waited with his Auntie D, I took some shots of the "new" part of Kings Cross: 50 odd Lensbaby images, which I will collate soon.

With the weather still baking hot and the London life crazily busy, we had to wait a while in Euston before we knew what platform to head for. Our carriage was "A", at the front, so it was a very long walk up the platform. But at least we got on the right train this time!

Averaged 150 photos per day. We have plans (in our heads) for London next year. All exhausted, but very happy it went smoothly, thanks to my rock, Mrs Tuttle for pre-booking and organising it all!

Our trip started here.

And the rest via Flickr. Enjoy.
