Cafe Du Mond

Apparently you can't got to New Orleans without 'doing' Cafe Du Monde' so here we are courtesy of a guest use of my camera by Neil. Frankly as a tourist venue it leaves a lot to be desired. I've tasted better beignets in a French petrol station and the coffee, whilst reminiscent of some Cafe au Laits I have had in France, was nothing like the real thing! Still, they have excellent tacky hats!
