Glasgow 2014 Road Race

Peter Kennaugh from the Isle of Man led the road race for much of the day, but was caught in the end and ended up eighth. Here he is speeding down West George Street about half way through the race.

We had an amazing day; saw the second half of the women's race, walked along the course from the west end into the city centre as it progressed, had a mooch about Glasgow Green and the Merchant City then walked back along the course during the men's race.

I did end up literally soaked to the skin by the end of the day though, but well worth it. Now home to chill out and watch the closing ceremony on TV.
