WW1 Banner

Cambusbarron women first stretched the original of this banner across the main street in the village of Cambusbarron, Scotland in September 1914, concerned about the fate of their loved ones in WW1. The words are by Lady Nairne and became part of a traditional song of farewell. The word lo'ed means loved. This banner is in front of the War Memorial at the Bruce Memorial Church in Cambusbarron.
