Enough space?

We where driving by bicycles around Savonlinna island. We came back to home via railroad bridge. Unfortunately barrier boom came in front of us and red light turned on. We needed to wait a cargo ship to pass this bridge. It seems that ship was over 7,5 meter height, because railroad bridge needed to be open. And less than 12,2 meters, because main road bridge did not need to be opened.

I think there was about half meter both sides of ship. Also there is quite strong water flow in this part. Some people say that this is hardest place for ship pilot in hole Lake Saimaa.
