Pig's Ears and Clover

Jon and I went on a probably 3 mile walk today and there I took pictures of so many fungi that were colorful but this was next to our driveway and I liked the way the clover was growing around and through it. I guess we've had a lot of rain lately!

As best as a I can tell, it's a Discina prelate or Pig's Ears. Supposedly edible with caution. What does that mean? I think I'll pass.
