Cycling Road Race

Strictly not Saturday, but I had two pictures to share from Sunday. Rain thrashed down for much of the four hour course but we were able to retreat back into Church between laps to watch the iplayer feed on the big screen.

We cheered on the two Ugandans but unfortunately they were lapped on their second loop of the course so were pulled out of the race before we could get a photo!

Lots of cyclists up really close, especially when you hide under the flower displays to avoid the rain and stick your head through the railings at ground level!
