Surfing the rainbow

I've spotted these wind surfers in the distance many times in passing. Today I managed to get closer but not close enough. It was a race against time with the rain clouds closing in on their way from Glasgow where they had been for most of the morning and trying to catch this rainbow before it disappeared.

I just made it back in time to save myself from a soaking and to watch the closing ceremony from the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. No gay kiss or flared nostrils to complain about this time, but I'm sure there will be something that wasn't right.

I quite liked this song, one of many sung during the evening.
