An' the dawn comes up like thunder . . . . . . .

Rudyard Kipling's poem Mandalay eulogises the exoticism and vibrance of the East compared to the cold, damp and foggy climates of England. I was reminded of this today, seeing this ball of fire coming up out of the sea and comparing it to the cold and foggy conditions that we had yesterday - as in yesterday's blip.

I've finally received my Nikon D610 back from Nikon in Auckland, with it having had the Autofocus module replaced. Apparently it was faulty and it would have failed sooner or later. Just a shame it had to happen when I was needing it when I was away on a trip.
