Work

It's what we do to afford the life we choose to live. And yes even the crappy bits evolved from a choice somewhere, even if we don't remember (or care to remember) which.

I digress.

Some jobs define us.
You know the ones...where people instinctively know we want to do something about it, perhaps resolve their issue or fix their problem during our social/not being paid to care hours.

Some jobs come with an after hours/off the clock responsibility anyway...
Question: on a flight when they call for a medical officer (or nurse if that fails) does that person get a gratuity from the airline or is it an expectation?

I sometimes make up a pretend job & run with that when I get a sense their could be dumb questions that follow.
Do you?
