War memorial.

There have been lots of ceremonies today commemorating the beginning of WWI and these have been attended by royalty and politicians. This photograph shows part of the WWI memorial in the village of New Abbey and the names of two of my great, great uncles are inscribed on it. Three brothers went to France, two were killed and the other was seriously injured; similar situations to this were repeated in many other families.
