"Either-Or"

A few years ago I took a class on mandala drawing. To start, we traced a circle with pencil. I made some extra circles to work on at home, and never did anything with them until a week ago.

This is certainly not a traditional mandala. Maybe I've invented a new form? If so, I might call it a Thousand-Petal Mandala.

Except for the penciled circle, everything in this drawing is freehand. No measuring was done except by eyeball.
