Colour and snow

This budding amaryllis bulb contrasts sharply with the white of the snow, seen outside the window. Everything, including the lengthening days and swelling buds on the trees, points to the approach of spring. However, winter continues to hold sway in eastern Holland for at least the next week.

There will be no blip from me tomorrow as I transfer from Castle Town East to Castle Town West.
