Ideford Common

I went up to Haldon Hill today looking for a view over the fields that I can see from the road. I found myself on Ideford Common, which seems a long way from Ideford but that's none of my business. It's a site of special scientic interest but I didn't go into that part on this occasion but I will be back.

I loved the combination of heather and gorse that are coming into bloom and so that's what you have for today. I liked the distant trees on the skyline in this one. There's another here.

I saw on the weather forecast there it was going to rain later and it's already started so I'm glad I didn't leave it too late.
