Chicken Progress

The chickens are now almost 10 weeks old and perhaps even more friendly than when they were tiny chicks.

They rush to greet us and are always keen to chat and feed from our hands. This week we have clipped their wings and have let them free range in the garden when we're there to watch over them. I'm a bit nervous that the local birds of prey might still fancy their chances but hopefully they're too big now?
The ducks are totally confused, it's funny watching the chickens approach the ducks only for the ducks to about turn, quack loudly and head off in the opposite direction.
