Kylie's pot plant

At Hampden for the closing of the Commonwealth Games, Kylie Minogue was the star. Her dressing room afforded her star treatment, with lots of potted plants. But when the Games were over, vast quantities of stuff were thrown out - probably inevitably.

This potted plant was one of Kylies which was thrown out and rescued by Anna and brought home. And the flags/bunting (hanging over our banisters) similarly are relics of the closing event.

Behind the scenes personnel benefit from the final clear-out of stuff that cannot be economically disposed of.
