Flowers in the desert

There is a cactus plant on my colleague's desk. She has been away on maternity leave, and I've taken over watering it in her absence. I think it likes me better, as it's flowered twice in the last two months!

I am preparing my house for our impending move next week. We exchanged contracts and set a date, now we have to wait for our finances to sort themselves out and we'll be good to go! Oh, and packing. Lots of packing.

I'm taking all of next week off to do packing so hopefully it won't be too hectic on the day. Wish us luck!
