Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red

Installation at the Tower of London to commemorate 100 years since the start of the Great War. A sea of red ceramic poppies spill out across the moat to symbolise a British or Colonial military fatality during the war. More poppies will be added through the summer and autumn, until the final one of the 888,246 flowers is added on 11th November. Wish I'd had my proper camera.
