Went down to a a small Larbert community centre to watch the end of the training session and help the coach pack all the mats in the van. Off course there was always time to get a few shots of coach John Buchanan, Team Scotland judoka, former British Olympic Judo captain, with his bronze medal.

The wee man is so proud of his coach (as are most Scots) and it was great getting a chance to chat to him about the games after we had all been through to see him compete, the final and the whole Commonwealth Games experience from his perspective. Congratulations John; a thoroughly nice bloke. This is what "legacy" means, wee guys like Callum engaging with guys that are the elite and still coaching at the grass roots.

..oh, and apparently "that blonde lass that helps out now and again" is Stephanie Inglis... she got a silver........
