It's difficult to believe that just 2 hours earlier I was driving home from a shopping trip in torrential rain. It was dry when I left Kendal, but soon the rain started and just got heavier. The wipers were on double speed, lights on dipped beam and numerous puddles were splashed through. Don't think I soaked any pedestrians.

Of course I forgot to buy a few items for tonight's meal so the walk into the village for these gave me the opportunity to get a blip. This is St. Mary's Church in Ambleside viewed across the recreation ground.

I'm in lazy mode tonight - haven't even cropped the photo to exclude the hedge. Of course, if i was taller the hedge wouldn't have been in!
