The River Man

A nice bit of art in the middle of the River Goyt at Marple Bridge.

The position of the sun makes it look like the man has a white beard - I like the look. I wonder how long the Island will last, I think it will need quite a big rise in water level to demolish it completely.

Marple Bridge is only 20 minutes away in the car but its very different from home - its a bit posh.
