New cat toy

On Friday, I took my cats to the vet for their annual vaccinations. It's never an easy task due to them hating the cat carriers and crying/miaowing loudly when they're in them. Poor Herman even made his own little nose bleed by scratching it when he was trying to get out.

The vet was, as always, an absolute delight and she complimented the cats on their teeth (very clean), their fur (lovely and shiny) and their cuteness (you've all seen them). However, she wasn't as impressed with their waistlines and they both need to go on kitty diets and get more exercise!

In addition to going on a lower calorie diet, I'm also seeking them out for more playing and games. So far, they seem up for it, so all is going well. Keep your paws crossed for the next weigh-in in October!
