Eye Candy

Here are two pieces from an exhibit I curated and hung yesterday. The piece on the left is two sided; I did the reverse side which is the opposite of this side... So my side is bold, angular with words in tapestry celebrating the state of politics today. The side showing is natural dyed silk with lines and hand sewed maple leaves... Note the peek a boo window.

The piece on the right is woven in black and a rainbow of colors. It was wonderful to be able to hang these two together.
