Memorials to the Great War (1914 to 1918)

Mush as been written and shown this week about the start of the start of the Great War (WWI) in this 100th anniversary year of its commencement.

Whilst walking through Liverpool Street Station yesterday morning, as I was very early for my train. I took a few images of the station. Many stations have memorials to former workers lost in conflicts or accidents.

This memorials erected by the London Society of East Anglians was tucked away behind a much larger War Memorial; however it's colours and specific memories struck a chord with me.
