MEET DUSTY

He is mine for 12 days while his family are on holiday. He has eaten a piece of cucumber, played in his wheel, and shredded a toilet roll tube. The photo is before he set about the tube. He is very, very cute and cuddly.

But his lifelong companion passed away a few weeks ago, at around a normal age for a gerbil, so it is a bit like having a new baby in the house and looking to check he is breathing every few minutes!
