Silver, blue and green

The thousands of seabirds at Levenhall took no notice of the luxury Silver Cloud cruise ship as it left Leith under the pale blue sky dotted with white clouds and sailed down the deep blue Forth towards Orkney. Joining many other birds on the silvery blue scrapes were dunlins and redshanks while lapwings searched the green grass and dozens of oystercatchers and sandwich terns flew around.
