It is not unusal for Edgar to return home covered in mud, often talking of mud stew from the mud kitchen, but when he'd finished his wailing breakdown this evening and was letting me brush his teeth he said he was upset as he hadn't wanted to get all muddy. It is not clear if this is because some of the mud was more like oil.
