Dolton

The Camera Club walk this evening took us to Dolton. We stopped off at a nature reserve with a hide to see if we might be lucky and see anything unusual/interesting. The walk to the hide was through a beautiful forest so saw squirrel etc but no deer. Neither did the kingfishers nor otters (seen according to others who'd written in the book this week) appear!
In Dolton Church there is an old Anglo Saxon font - here is one side of this beautiful relic.
The Royal Oak did us proud with a wonderful meal. Well worth the visit.
