Life in a Northern Town

Plastic Onions

A couple of days ago I was waxing lyrical about 70s households, including plastic onions, Bush radios and Pilsbury Doughboys.

This photo captures all three. Plus me on the left and my friend Dawn, indulging our passion for dressing up to look older than we were. I seem to remember we called ourselves Jackie and Christine, the most grown up and sophisticated names we could possibly imagine.

I do hope we never left the house looking like that.

Busy working day today, hence the lazy Blip - hoping to get finished in time to visit the Huddersfield food and drink festival later, curry calls!

Enjoy your Friday.

Ps I dare you to Blip a shot of yourself in the 70s!
