Bonus flower

I went to the garden centre this afternoon to buy a few pansies to brighten up my garden. They were putting out all the boxes of spring bulbs! I can't bear to think of that when we are still in the middle of summer.
There is a parrot at the garden centre and I have never heard her talk. I commented on this and apparently she only speaks when she thinks there is no-one around and she usually says "Oh look, there's a parrot! I wonder if it talks!" Priceless!
The rose in the picture is Ferdinand Pichard. It usually only flowers once, in June, but this year we have a bonus two blooms in August.
