No better place ..

We spent the day in festival Edinburgh and I couldn't think of a better place to be.

A play about a Scottish Socialist anguishing over the referendum vote, lunch in Jamie's. play about the young Bette Davis and a dash cross town for a gentle hour of humour orchestrated by Nicholas Parsons. As I arrived for his show, Nicholas got out of his taxi and walked past the queue to great cheers into the venue.

And amongst all that, a city full of buzziness, good humour (generally), colour, persuading performers, quality crafts, ..... and some rain.

I took my camera but it wasn't a day for photography. A quick snap of Nicholas after his performance made it as a blip.
