E'en Do Bait Spair Nocht

In Scots means "In what you do, spare nothing", Clan McGregor motto.
This lovely stained glass is the top of a much bigger panel featuring Rob Roy McGregor. It is huge and takes pride of place on a staircase in a wonderful house we visited today for a BBQ.
I had to take a close up shot of the motto to send it to my Uncle to find out what it meant for the owner. Also, apparently we are related to Roy Roy's sister..but many people claim to be related to Rob Roy, family legend I suppose. I am very interested in genealogy though so one day I shall look further into the claim...and besides...Rob Roy McGregor looks really like my Dad :-)
