Down the Cardrona Valley

A bluebird day! (when did we pick up this expression we do not have Bluebirds)
Taken about halfway down from the ski area. It look wards to Lake Hawea, which is really just a misty patch today.

I always look at the left hand mountains and wonder how they formed. There are obvious massive slips and slumps, with lots of hollows and humps.

The new snow looks pretty and makes for great skiing.
