GEMAX Photographics

Dracophyllum secundum

The title sounds like a spell from Harry Potter, but it's a little plant that clings to the rock faces all around the Blue Mountains.

This was taken on a black & white photography weekend workshop run for the Blackheath Art Society, by well known photographer & educator, Len Metcalf.

This workshop is also being attended by Cymbeline, Isbi, and Beckett . We had a lot of fun today, and we're out creating more monochrome work at 7am on Sunday.

For those interested in some more images from the Black & White workshop that Cymbeline, Isbi, Beckett and I attended over the weekend, I've posted a set here
