Coffee with a View

C's daughter, M, is visiting for a few days. Late this afternoon, we all went for a walk along the waterfront trail that runs from Fairhaven (the touristy part of Bellingham) to downtown. Of the twenty -six miles of trails within the city limits, this is one of the most popular -- especially at sunset.

We didn't go all the way to town, but turned around at the coffee shop. There were plenty of people out walking and jogging, in spite of the cold wind, and even a few hardy souls drinking their coffee in the outdoor seating area behind the coffee shop. Must have been native 'hamsters.
